Reconnect to your roots and discover the history of Coaldale at the Gem of the West Museum by exploring our exhibits.
SCHOOL TOURS
Bring your class in for guided tours and interactive learning opportunities based on Alberta curriculum, all grades are welcome.
Enjoy fun hands-on learning activities, such as historical butter making, which will complement your classroom learning or depending on scheduling have a blacksmithing demonstration.
School tours are available from May to September.
GENERAL TOURS
Be sure to set aside approximately 1.5 hours to tour our many exhibits.
Those groups looking for a guided tour we encourage them to pre-book in advance. Interactive activities are available for pre-booked children’s group tours.
